“Cabazon at Left Turn”   2021   16×20″   Oil on linen painted ‘Sous Marine’ (underwater)

This technique is applying oil paint on canvas underwater. I am not aware of very many people using this technique in the world and none here in California in our kelp forests. The cabazon was resting on a rock we normally turn left at to go out further at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.
