Arctic Walrus   24x36inches   Medium: Acrylic on Canvas    2020

This walrus was one of many encountered up close in the Arctic in Spitzbergen. I have exhibited and sold artwork since the early seventies, producing artwork directly onsite and/or from personal photo reference above and below the water. Recent work includes using biodegradable oils while painting underwater with scuba gear.
