won 1st Place in Category 7 : abstract expressionism – 2021 AMERICAN ART AWARDS. 

Three sentences:

1.  Life can be precarious, like abseiling into a watery chasm; we all need to know we’re attached to a safety-rope,  giving us security and hope.

2. A multi-layering, textural process, of personal, symbolic mark-making with looped ropes and lifelines, concealed and revealed;  just as they are in life.

3.  My artwork successfully sells and this is reflected in my recent price increases, with the latest large painting ‘Bushfire Containment’ (40” x 59”) sold in March 2021 for AUD$2,300.00 (ie US$1,670.00).
